BOOSTER BOARD OPEN POSITIONS

This is a committee chair who is responsible for all communications to parents & cadets. Duties include:

• Compose & distribute monthly newsletters
• Maintain & update website
• Create flyers & other marketing materials to promote program events
• Create updates and events on Facebook
• Create forms as needed or requested by the board

Time commitment: 2 – 10 hours (including monthly parent/board meetings).

This is a committee position dedicated to supporting our traveling Drill Team. We are looking for a volunteer to work with our current Drill Team coordinator.

Duties include:

• Hauling the Drill Team trailer to their various competitions
• Organizing snack/drink donations from other parents (with the assistance of the volunteer coordinator)
• Assist in keeping track of Drill Team registration fees
• Attend monthly meetings

Time Commitment: 12-15 hours / month (including parent/board meetings)

This is a committee chair position primarily focused on coordinating fieldtrip opportunities. This role will work with the instructors to research and plan an annual fieldtrip to coincide with the JROTC unit for the year. This may also include collecting and reporting monies, finding chaperones (with the assist of the volunteer coordinator), and any other assistance as needed by the instructors. 

Time Commitment: As needed until field trip; 2 hours / month for Parent/Board meetings

This is a committee chair position responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing all fundraisers. This position also researches and implements new fundraising ideas. 

Time Commitment: 2 – 10 hours (including monthly parent/board meetings).
